Our grand adventure:
On July 16, 2016, we set out on an incredible journey to bikepack the Colorado Trail from Durango to Denver fully self-supported. Relying only on ourselves to prepare and shoulder the load as a team of two, we rode over countless mountain passes, through meadows brimming with wildflowers, and completed the entire 540 mile journey in 15 days. What began as a dream trip soon became a reality as we found ourselves surrounded by vast mountain ranges with nothing to do but ride our bikes back home to Golden.
Meet Eric,
Eric works in the cycling industry for the company Feedback Sports; specializing in home storage solutions, repair stands, and cycling products to support racers and mechanics around the globe. In 2015, he sent 27 bikes to Africa by banding together the local cycling community via an event appropriately named, "Brews for Bikes" for World Bicycle Relief. While he is not technically a native to the state of CO, he has resided here for a majority of his life. The backcountry and mountains of Colorado run deep within his veins, and he's constantly in search of visiting places that he has never been before. With a backyard that is filled with such an incredible mountain range, it’s tough not to crave what comes of these adventures.

Meet Donna,
Donna is an art teacher for preschool all the way through 8th grade at Denver Green School, a progressive innovation school. Enduring the challenges of teaching many different age groups, she provides her students with an art-rich learning experience in a setting that is focused on sustainability. On the weekends, you can bet you'll find her somewhere in the mountains, wandering through the tall pines on a bike, or tethered to a rock with a climbing rope. Before becoming a school teacher, she raced professionally on the first factory Niner team. It's also worth noting that she's ridden in many mountain bike stage races from the Transylvania Epic in PA to the Breck Epic in CO. Mountain biking is engrained in her soul. A recent transplant to Colorado, Donna has explored more places throughout the state in just over a year, than most people visit in a lifetime. Needless to say, she is a go getter and makes sure to utilize every bit of time off for adventures.
